M.E. Technical College – Building a Legacy Through Knowledge

The M.E. Technical College (Martin Epie Technical College) is more than just a school — it is a legacy reclaimed.

A Legacy Reclaimed

Founded on land purchased by the late Ambassador Martin Epie, former Ambassador of Cameroon to Canada and the United Kingdom, this initiative stands on ground once caught in a decades-long legal battle.

The Story Behind the Land

After returning to Cameroon in 1979, Ambassador Epie began building a home in the Ngousso district of Yaoundé. Unfortunately, due to unreliable land documentation at the time, the property was sold again fraudulently. Legal disputes ensued for over a decade. Before the matter could be fully resolved, Ambassador Epie passed away.

In a cruel turn, the opposing party attempted to destroy the half-completed structure. But what the Ambassador had built was no ordinary house — it was a fortress. Even a bulldozer couldn't bring it down. Eventually, that party too passed away.

In 2021, Marshall Epie returned to Cameroon. With care and vision, he peacefully reclaimed the site, evicted long-term squatters, and began rebuilding — this time, not just as a home, but as a center for transformation. A portion of 400 square meters was sectioned off and repurposed to serve the youth of Cameroon.
