The Truth Blog — Finding the Universal Thread
Exploring the nature of truth through the lens of global conflicts and human connection.
It's quite simple, really — and also quite deep.
What is the truth?
Let's take a sensitive example. Is what's happening to the people in Palestine fair?
Many — especially Palestinians — would say no. To them, the injustice is clear and painful. That becomes their truth: they are being treated unfairly.
Now let's flip the coin.
Imagine a young Israeli man who lost his beloved wife and children in a terrorist attack. His grief leads him to blame Palestinians. In his sorrow and bitterness, his truth becomes: they deserve what they get.
These two perspectives are not lies. They are emotional, lived truths — but they are not the universal truth. They are opinions forged from pain, rooted in real experiences. Valid in context, but not absolute.
Everyone walks through life with a different lens. So everyone's personal truth is different.
But personal truth is not what saves you.
We must talk about something deeper — the universal truth. A truth that is true for everyone. A kind of common denominator.
A truth bearer, someone who seeks truth without agenda, will examine the situation and recognize a fundamental fact:
Israelis and Palestinians are related.
In fact, the entire human race is related.
We are one great, big human family.
When you live by this truth — by the understanding that we are all one — it changes how you see the world. Every death becomes a death in your family. Whether the person is Israeli or Palestinian, Ukrainian or Russian, American or Afghan, Pakistani or Indian — if they are human, they are your family.
This truth is rooted in the Law of One — one of the four universal truths that govern all existence.
When you live by a universal truth like this, you stop choosing sides. Not because you're indifferent, but because you see everyone as part of the whole. You love all your family. Even the members who misbehave.
And when someone in your family misbehaves, you may need to correct them. You might guide them, even discipline them — but you don't destroy them. You don't kill your own.
The practice of truth — of seeking the universal truth in every situation — can liberate you from hate and suffering.
Because in the end, all that matters is truth.
The universal truth.
Live by it, and you will always find a way.
The Four Universal Truths
The Law of One is just the beginning. When we examine the deepest patterns that govern existence, we find universal principles that transcend culture, religion, and personal experience. These truths form the foundation for genuine peace and understanding.
Living Truth in Daily Life
Applying universal truth isn't just about resolving global conflicts. It's about how we interact with our neighbors, colleagues, and even strangers. When we see everyone as family, our approach to disagreement, competition, and even betrayal fundamentally changes.
The path isn't always easy, but it's always clear. Seek the universal thread that connects us all, and you'll find that every problem contains within it the seeds of its own solution.
